COMPETITION RULES

ENTRY

1.These competition rules (‘the Rules’) apply to all Pacific Edge Event competitions conducted online. The Rules may change from time to time.

2.If a particular competition has specific rules or terms those specific rules or terms will apply if there is any inconsistency with the Rules.

3. 3.Entry into the competition is deemed to be acceptance of the Rules.
   

4. 4.The competition is open to UK Mayhem World Members only.
   

5. 5.Entrants need to be aged 18 years or older.
   

5. 5.Entry is invited by email only to the following address: competitions@mayhemworld.co.uk
   

6. 6.Entry to the competitions is restricted to one entry per person please.
   

7. 7.Multiple entries will be disqualified.
   

8. 8.Excessive multiple entries from the same email account pertaining to be representative of friends and family will also be disqualified at the judge’s discretion.
   

WINNING THE PRIZE

1. Only the person who originally entered the competition can be awarded the prize (‘the Winner’).

2. The Winner will be determined by random draw.

3. The judge’s determination of the Winner will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

4. 4.The Winner will be notified by email and must be available for the preparation of all publicity that may be required by Pacific Edge Events. The notification must be acknowledged by the Winner within two weeks, failure to acknowledge the notification will be regarded as forfeit.
   

5. 5.Where attempts to contact the Winner fail (e.g. when the Winner cannot be contacted by email after three attempts), the judge will select another winner. 
   

6. 6. The prize is not redeemable for cash or transferable. No other family members, friends, office associates or any other person will be able to participate on the Winner’s behalf.  In the event that the prize specified in the competition becomes unavailable for any reason the Promoter may substitute a prize of like or equal value. 
   

7. 7.The Winner takes the prize entirely at his/her own risk and indemnifies Pacific Edge Events in respect of any claim for any accident, injury, property damage or loss of life that may occur in connection with the prize.
   

8. The Winner is responsible for all insurance, tax or other costs that may be associated with the prize.

PACIFIC EDGE EVENTS RESPONSIBILITY

1. Pacific Edge Events reserves the right to extend or discontinue a competition at any stage, for any reason. 

2. 2.Pacific Edge Events disclaims any responsibility for the inability to enter, complete or continue the competition due to equipment or technical malfunction, busy lines, inadvertent disconnection, Acts of God or otherwise.
   

3. 3.To the fullest extent permitted by law Pacific Edge Events will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for personal injury as a result of competition entry or winning the competition prize.
   

4. 4.Pacific Edge Events are compliant with the data protection act. Our policy is such that we will not pass on your details to any third party without your prior consent.
